What each plan covers

The Starter plan above is the in-browser converter: paste HTML, get a PDF, as often as you like. It does not include the API or archiving; those come with the API tiers in the table, priced by monthly render volume, so you can check the economics before you spend an afternoon integrating.

There is no free plan: the in-browser converter gives you one PDF to try, and it does not even need an account.

Publishing our numbers is only useful if you can put them next to everyone else's, so we did that too. The PDF API pricing comparison takes twelve vendors, applies each one's own credit and billing rules to a single 10,000 document a month workload, and prints the cost per 1,000 documents that comes out. Two of them are cheaper than the tier above, and the page says which.

Pricing questions

How does this compare to DocRaptor, PDFShift or Urlbox?

On pure per-render price we land in the same neighborhood as PDFShift and below DocRaptor at volume. The difference is what a render includes: with archive=true every document leaves a timestamped, retrievable record behind, which elsewhere means integrating and paying for a second product.

What do I get for the Starter plan today?

The converter on this site without the one-PDF limit: unlimited PDFs from HTML you paste or edit, A4, Letter and Legal, portrait or landscape, margins, live preview and your own file name, all rendered in your browser. Not the API, not archiving.

Is there a trial?

The in-browser converter gives you one PDF free, no account needed. There is no standing free tier. After that PDF the converter asks for the Starter plan.

How do I sign in on another computer?

There is no password. Enter the email you paid with on the sign-in page and a link is sent there; opening it signs that device in. Billing and cancellation are under Account.

Can I pay annually or by invoice?

Starter is billed by card, monthly or yearly, and a year costs half of twelve monthly payments. The prices above open on yearly; the switch shows monthly. Every API tier, Enterprise included, is bought the same way, by card, monthly or yearly, with an invoice for every payment. Enterprise adds a DPA, and you get it from your account after the purchase.
